They can choose what picture they want to Mod Podge on the trivet, and then how they want to decorate it ie-name,etc. Great for a middle school age project.

    Can you put hot pans on a trivet coated in MODGE PODGE?

    I would say that it would then have to be coated with a heat resistant shelac or something…great question!
