Many of us have made silhouette pictures, but I have never seen them made as part of a President’s Day project. Usually, if they are going to be associated with a holiday it would be Groundhogs Day (when we talk about shadows). When I made these with my kids, I actually used a light source to trace their outline onto a piece of paper; Janae, from I Can Teach My Child, explains how she made her silhouette using a printed picture of the child’s profile.
