In honor of National Craft Month, here’s another exclusive Craft Gossip giveaway! This giveaway actually allows you to choose what craft kit you would want to win! Smart-Bottom Kids is a great etsy store that has so many different craft kits to choose from.  Darcy, the owner of Smart-Bottom Kids has crafts that have to do with the different seasons, holidays, or themes.   I love how her motto is Craft Kits for Kids Quality Time- Made Easy. Often times, the only thing holding us back from spending quality craft time with our children is the preparation  and organization of ideas and supplies. With Smart-Bottom Kids, she does all the work for you..all you have to do is order your kit, wait for it to come in the mail, then have a greattime with your children!     “Garden Caterpillar Kid Kit” is one of the best (it was hard to decide between this and butterfly ones)! At home we are currently doing a homeschool theme of caterpillars & butterflies as we watch our own grow at home. This fits in perfectly with everything insect in our lesson plans!!!

    I love the caterpillar kit! My 4 y/o son is going through a “caterpillar/butterfly” stage so this would be perfect! I have actually ordered a butterfly kit where you get the caterpillars and actually watch them change into butterflies. This kit would go along with that so well :)

    Time spent creating things together with your children really is quality time. It can be a a time when memories are made. As a parent, I have discovered something new about my children through their artist endeavors; what they may be thinking, feeling,and/or how they process information. Many adults, such as myself, may not see themselves as creative and therefore are unsure of how to help their children be creative. Smart Bottoms Kids has removed this obstacle! I especially like the fish bowl kitbecause of the various textures and techniques involved in making this craft. (My fingers are crossed :)
