If you are new to our Helping Japan Auction, you can read the announcement post here. You can also find all of the Auction Posts here. As lesson plans editor, I have had the opportunity to review some great books. Now, I would like to put them all together in a nice little package for you to bid on and help out Japan while receiving some amazing reads! Here is a list of the books along with my reviews.
Live More, Want Less ; 52 Ways to Find Order In Your Life by Mary Carolomagno- Read Review Here
The Cleaner Plate Club; More than 100 Recipes for Real Food Your Kids Will Love by Beth Bader &Ali Benjamin- Read Review Here
The Nature Connection; An Outdoor Workbook by Clare Walker Leslie – Read Review Here
Handmade Home by Amanda Blake Soule- I did not review this book, its one out of my personal stash, but I absolutely LOVE it, and would love to pass it on to a good home!
All of the books are in great condition, and I will mail them out to the highest bidder together as soon as the bid is received through paypal. Here is a little bit more information about the bidding process and how it will work:
ALL PROCEEDS will go to The Salvation Army specifically for the relief effort in Japan due to the devastating earthquake and tsunami.
If you live in the United States Craft Gossip will pay your shipping so that every penny out of your pocket goes directly to Japan. If you live outside of the United States you may bid, however you will be responsible for the shipping cost as well. At the conclusion of the auction, the highest bid will be the winner and Paypal payment will be due at that time. If the winning bidder doesn’t make the payment within 3 days, we will select the next highest bidder. The highest bidder will send the payment to firstname.lastname@example.org via PayPal. (If you are overseas, postage will be added to your winning bid.)
BIDDING STARTS at $15 which is not even the cost of just one of these books, but hopefully your generosity will allow for a higher ending bid and we’ll be able to make a difference. The total value of this lot of books is over $65! To place a bid, leave your amount in the comments along with a valid email address so we can get in touch with you. Bidding ends on April 7, 2011.
Thank you again for being the best, loyal and most GIVING readers! Happy Bidding !
