Kandinsky Citric Fizz
This activity is a fun way to combine an art history lesson and a science experiment. Brigette, from Life Lesson Plans, taught her kids about Wassily Kandinsky and chemical reactions at the same time. Many of us have done experiments by mixing baking soda and vinegar, and this will give you a similar effect. You use a combination of baking soda, citric acid, and water.

The kids will love this project no matter what age they are. Try it out by following these directions: Kandinsky Citric Fizz
