No matter what grade you teach, centers are a great way to reinforce concepts taught and promote independent work. Literacy Centers are especially effective when trying to teach and review. Here’s a site (MrsMcDowell.com) that teaches educators why centers are so important and gives examples (with pictures) of the activities that work in her classroom!
