With Earth Day coming up this weekend, you might want to plan an Earth-themed craft to do with your kids.
Crafts on Sea has a great collection of more than 30 Earth Day crafts, which it says are for toddlers but there are plenty here that elementary-aged kids would enjoy as well.
A bonus is that some of them offer a creative reuse of items we might otherwise throw away after the first use, such as milk jug caps, single-serve coffee pods and bubble wrap.
Working on an Earth Day craft is a great way to start talking with your kids about why it’s important to do what we can to take care of the planet. And all that blue and green is fun for spring, too!
