This is so clever and I can’t wait until my little one is learning chemistry so we can play Periodic Table Battleship.
How to set it up and the printable (free with subscription) are all at Teach Beside Me. Basically you print out four copies of the periodic table and laminate them or put them in plastic sheet protectors, clamp them to file folders and you have your “board.”
Kids can draw their own “ships” on the table and then it proceeds just like regular Battleship, but this has the bonus of getting kids comfortable with the names of elements and where they are located on the periodic table.
I think this is brilliant. If you don’t want to assemble it yourself you can also buy the full physical game set on etsy.
