Water is a great topic for summer because playing in water is always fun when it’s hot outside.
Little Bins for Little Hands has a nice roundup of water science activities, including ice melting (which is a pretty universally loved activity this time of year), sink or float experiments, making a wave jar, building a dam with Legos, water absorption, density, surface tension and more.
I’m definitely going to try some of these activities as we go into the last full week of summer break.
Do you have any water play/learning activities that you love? I’d love to hear about them.
