This post from almost two years ago was too good to pass up.  You can make the cutest little gnomes made out of pine cones, and then you can give the felt heart away to wear as a pin. I have a true fondness for Waldorf Inspired crafts, and this one is just beautiful. You can find the tutorial at gardenmama.
