A is for Apple and it is also for Autumn… Coincidence? I think not because autumn is the perfect time to teach about apples, and learning about both are a great way to start an alphabet unit!
Bern, from Mom to 2 Posh Lil Divas, must have thought this was true because she created this torn paper apple craft for those reasons. All that is needed for this project is construction paper and a pair of scissors. You use the scissors to cut out the letter, leaf, and seeds, but you actually have the kids tear pieces of red and brown paper for the apple and stem. Not only will they have fun tearing the paper, they will also be working on fine motor skills.
