These adorable bees, made out of chenille stems and pom-poms, will happily help your kids practice counting; however, I think they are adorable enough to use for other uses. Perhaps make them into magnets to hang on the refrigerator?
Carissa, from Creative Green Living, crafted two different kinds of bees. She made smaller worker bees using a yellow and black chenille stem that are wrapped together. She also made a queen bee by carefully wrapping a black chenille stem around a yellow pom-pom. Of course you will also learn how to make the number cards.
