I always like finding different ways to play with common supplies, and my daughter did bubble painting at a craft camp a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it.
Kids love making the bubbles and getting to use them in an art project is especially cool because its a way to preserve bubbles, which are otherwise quite ephemeral.
My Joy Filled Life has a tutorial showing how to make bubble paint and using the finished projects as flowers, but you can do all sorts of things with them. My daughter’s project was doing bubble painting on a ceramic plate, which looks really cool. I’m sure your kids will come up with lots of fun ways to use them.
