When my daughter was in kindergarten they did a big unit on butterflies, including watching caterpillars make their chrysalises and hatch into butterflies. The life cycle of a butterfly is endlessly fascinating, and it’s kind of fun to craft, too.
Thanks to a variety of different shapes of pasta, it’s easy for kids to make models of the butterfly life cycle, and you can do the same thing to make butterfly life cycle sensory jars.
