Sometimes art projects just don’t work as well for younger kids as they do for older ones. Littles don’t have the same ability to manipulate materials and there is a high potential for mess.
But great teachers know that they can make similar projects in different ways with little kids and still have them turn out great.
A cool example of this is the chalk flowers art project from Deep Space Sparkle. She has two different methods of doing it for younger kids and older kids, but the use of chalk pastels is the same in both and leads to a similarly beautiful result.
I’d like to do this project myself or to make them alongside my daughter. These colorful flowers are perfect for summer or any other time of year, for making with a whole class or just with your kids at home.
