I love the idea of having little “camps” for the kids when they are home over the summer, and this looks like a great one.
Busy Kids Do Piano is offering a free, five-day music camp for kids, geared toward kids ages 4 to 8.
It includes guided listening, learning about the orchestra, written activities, learning about musical notes and basics of playing the piano and where different notes are on the keyboard. There’s also a schedule included so you know how long each part of the program should take.
This sounds like a great idea for kids with a piano or keyboard at home who haven’t had much formal musical instruction, and a great way to learn about music with your kids, too.
Have you done any summer camp style activities with your kids? I’d love to hear about them!
