Chinese New Year starts on February 19th. You can celebrate by making some of these Chinese Lanterns. These lanterns are created using babyfood jars, red tissue paper, and gold glitter. Why red? Red is found everywhere during Chinese New Year. Red symbolizes good fortune, which is usually everyone hope for a new year. If you don’t have baby food jars, you can use any jars you do have on hand.
