It is a good idea to come up with fun and creative ideas to help preschoolers practice their cutting skills! After all, it is better to let them practice cutting on paper, yarn, and other items than to have them practice on their own hair (or perhaps the hair of a compliant brother or sister)!
Laura, from Lalymom, had made this cute spider with her daughter as part of another project, but she thought it might be fun to incorporate it into a clever cutting activity. Not only did her daughter have a great time cutting the yarn (spider web), she couldn’t help but giggle at the spider.
