Whether you deal with actual food and cooking in your classroom or just with your kids at home, it’s always a good idea to reinforce good kitchen habits.
You can talk about these while kids are playing in the kitchen play area at school, while you are prepping for or when you car cooking in the kitchen together.
Real Life at Home has a great collection of basic kitchen safety lessons for kids (love step one: always wash your hands!), which are a really good place to start in teaching kids how to prevent injury in the kitchen and keep other people safe, too.
Though honestly there might be a fight about that not eating raw dough one.
