Even though it doesn’t remotely feel like fall where I live, I am so ready for changing leaves, pumpkins, apples and all the fun stuff that comes with the new season.
Fall-themed lesson plans are so much fun for littles, because you can combine indoor and outdoor activities like collecting leaves on a nature walk and sorting them or using them in an art project.
Of course you can you fake leaves for projects inside the home or classroom, too, and there are lot of great ideas for fall learning activities (some using leaves, some not) on this post from Mrs. Plemons’ Kindergarten.
She has a whole week of activities that includes books, fine motor activities, gross motor activities, snacks, sensory bins and more. Check out the post for inspiration and grab the printables from her Teachers Pay Teachers site for $5.
