I suppose this project might be a good one for the middle of summer, when the weather outside is hot and it would feel great to play with a chunk of ice, it really can be fun any time of year. This is especially true if you are studying dinosaurs. All you need to make your own eggs, other than plastic dinosaurs, are water balloons and water. If you want to add a little pizzazz to your dinosaur eggs, squeeze in a few drops of food coloring before you tie the balloon.
Once the water in the balloons is frozen, carefully remove the balloon from around the ice. You can then experiment with the dinosaur eggs — you can watch them melt and see how long it takes, or you can use a hammer to smash it open!
This Dinosaur activity would be a great party game or party activity for a Dinosaur party.
