It’s been a long time since I’ve made homemade playdough. Now that my daughter is a tween she’s much more into slime and other dramatic sensory experiences, but every now and they she still wants to make and play with playdough, too.
I was thinking about the Halloween playdough I made for her many, many years ago, and how fun and easy it is to make themed playdough for different holidays and seasons.
I made an orange one using Kool-Aid and pumpkin pie spice, and a black one with black food coloring and glitter.
Of course you can go even more fall and do a pumpkin pie playdough with actual pumpkin in it (like this one from Wunder Mom) but I would definitely want to refrigerate that one when not in use, and then it wouldn’t be as fun to play with when it was cold.
Do you make seasonal or holiday-themed playdough? I’d love to hear about it!
