The combination of cultural traditions and crafts is a great way to help kids learn about things that might otherwise be new to them. This origami Hanukkah garland from Moms and Crafters is a fun way to get kids practicing patience while they fold paper and to help them learn about some of the symbols and stories behind Hanukkah.
The garland includes stars and dreidel shapes, both of which are easy to make. Have kids make a bunch while you read a Hanukkah story, then string them together to decorate a space.
Head to Moms and Crafters for all the details.
