Where I live they’ve stopped collecting recycling in order to keep the sanitation workers safe, and while we can still take our recycling out ourselves it feels like we have a lot more “happy trash” around the house these days than normal.
So I was really happy to see this post from Red Ted Art, where she shows how to make a self-propelled boat from a margarine tub.
It uses some other basic supplies you probably have in the house — a yogurt tub, rubber band, craft sticks and the like — and is a fun STEM project for kids. Older kids can do it on their own while youngers might need help with the gluing.
Head to her website to see how it is done!
