Winter break in the Northern Hemisphere is a great time for baking and kitchen fun, both because of the holiday season and because you might be cooped up inside with nothing else to do.
While all cooking and baking has learning components, making sugar glass is one of those things that really looks like a science project and is lots of fun for kids of all ages to observe because food isn’t usually translucent.
Let’s Lasso the Moon has all the details on how to make edible glass including all the ingredients and technique.
Have you ever made edible science projects? I’d love to hear what you tried.
