For this activity, you can use whatever you have lying around your house or classroom. Start out with a clean, dry tin can. Wrap a bit of duct tape – you can use silver or any color you like – around the top of the can to cover any sharp edges. Then, dig through your craft supplies to find embellishments for your robot. All you need to do is glue magnets to the back of anything you want to use. Besides the obvious googly eyes and pom-poms, you can use colorful gems, craft foam, and nuts and bolts.
