One of the tenets of the environmental movement is reduce, reuse, recycle, and creative reuse of items that might otherwise get thrown away is one of my favorite things.
It’s hard to recycle paper milk and juice cartons because the coating on the paper makes it so it can’t go in the regular recycling. But you can use some of those cartons to make fun feeders for birds and other animals in your yard.
The instructions at Fancy Mama indeed make a fancy feeder that’s been painted in pretty ways, but you can cover yours with paper, just paint solid or even leave looking like a milk carton. The critters won’t mind.
