There are so many different ways to incorporate gratitude into crafts at this time of year, but I love this idea for a thankful turkey book that kids can make, from B-Inspired Mama.
Making books is a lot of fun for kids, and paper bag books are super simple to make. This one adds the twist of a turkey decoration, and kids can practice writing (or drawing) on the pages showing what they are thankful for.
You could also make the book and pass it around at Thanksgiving, having each person at the table write down or draw something they are thankful for.
Or simply use the upcycling idea of making turkey feathers out of cereal boxes and set the materials out for your kids to make turkeys without the book involved. Just the art project aspect of it would be a lot of fun, too.
How do you express gratitude at Thanksgiving? I’d love to hear your crafty ideas!
