Dr. Seuss’ birthday falls on a weekend this year (March 2) so that means we can celebrate the week before or the week after. My daughter’s school is doing the week after, but really Seussy crafts are great any time of year when you are reading his books.
To go with One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish why not try your hand at fish origami? Artsy Craftsy Mom has the how to on these easy and cute fish that you can make a whole little world for with shells, stickers, pipe cleaners and other supplies.
My daughter is nine and she’s really into origami right now so I think she would LOVE this project. But the folds are pretty easy so younger kids could probably do this one, too.
