I love a good craft any time, but a seasonal craft that’s also great for working on those fine-motor skills is even better.
These paper owls from krokotak are 1. super cute. 2. really easy to make. 3. a great little paper weaving project you can use to work on cutting skills and the movements of weaving.
There’s a video on the site that will show you exactly how to do it, but you can also figure it out from the pictures.
And of course this sort of thing would work with any kind of shape you like as the base: apples, pumpkins, Christmas trees, whatever you’re studying or your kiddos are into.
