If your family isn’t Jewish, you might not do a lot of learning activities around Hanukkah, but it’s a celebration with a great story and an easy way to introduce a different cultural tradition to your kids.
It can be as simple as printing out some Hanukkah themed printables and talking about what the different symbols mean and the story of the holiday.
Active Littles has some basic Hanukkah learning printables including an alphabet set with the star of David and a menorah candle counting activity.
You can print these out and use them with manipulatives or kids can spell their names or do letter identification activities, or check out the post for other ideas.
