If your kids are learning from home this year, carving pumpkins counts as art class, right?
Whether you do it for fun or work it into the school curriculum, it’s just about time for turning pumpkins into faces, ghosts and other designs.
Kiddy Charts has some great pumpkin carving templates for kids that use pretty simple shapes to make their designs. Of course parents should closely supervise (and actually do the cutting if young kids are involved) but kids still love to take part in the process, help with scooping the guts out (and playing with the seeds), advise on placement, etc.
The templates include a witch, a haunted house, ghost, bat, spider and more. Grab the free printable templates from her website.
