Back-to-school time is the perfect time for little ones — at school or at home — to do activities related to letters and learning the alphabet. If you’ve got a little one, or a classful of little ones, who like to play with and learn about letters, You Clever Monkey has got you covered.
She has 20 simple ideas for learning the alphabet including activities, resources, games and manipulatives you can make.
The ideas are all pretty simple, not requiring a ton of prepwork (unless you like things laminated) or supplies.
I love the alphabet mats (shown at bottom left of image above) where kids can find images of things that start with different letters, and the blocks with upper and lower case letters for them to match. So clever.
