There are so many fun crafts and activities you can do with a Halloween theme.
Salt painting is a lot of fun and easy for little kids to do, and you can give it a semi-spooky twist by following the directions for a spiderweb salt painting from Homeschool Preschool or the pumpkin salt painting idea from Natural Beach Living.
The technique is the same regardless of the shape you are using, and you already have everything you need on hand: glue, salt and watercolors.
Have you ever done salt painting before? I’d love to hear about the designs you used.

My brother went through a phase where he was obsessed with maps. He loved to look at maps and he would draw maps of places real and imagined. He even drew maps that followed our route when we’d go to visit our grandparents in another state!
