I count myself really lucky that my daughter loves to read and easily spends an hour a day reading with no prompting at all from me.
But I know a lot of kids aren’t as excited about reading, especially in the summer, and anything you can do to get them interested in reading is a good thing.
The Chirping Moms has a fun printable for summer reading bingo that includes activities like reading poetry, reading in a fort and reading while eating breakfast.
If you don’t like her prompts you can make your own bingo card and come up with a fun reward to give your kid when they fill up their card.
