I find anything made using tessellations (A pattern made of identical shapes that fit together without any gaps and they do not overlap) fascinating. How about you?
Jodi, from Meaningful Mama, felt that same way so she did this fun art project with her young daughter. She started off my showing her daughter a book she had of art created by M.C. Escher and then let her play an online tessellation game she had found. Once her daughter had more of an understanding how tessellations work, she encouraged her to make her own. If you ask me, it is an amazing picture!
