You might have heard about the concept of One Little Word, where you pick a word that will guide your thoughts and decisions for the coming year.
The Thinker Builder has a great activity for using a word in the classroom. Students can pick a word and use the printables available at Teachers Pay Teachers to write about why they chose that word and how they are going to implement the word in their life in the next year.
This makes a really cool class project that focuses on growth mindset, and the word projects can be displayed in the classroom as a reminder of what everyone is working toward.
Do you have a word? I’d love to hear about it.
