‘Twas the week before Christmas, and all through the school, teachers were looking for things to keep kids interested in being in school.
Whether you’re a teacher trying to get through the next week with her sanity intact or a parent looking for easy learning activities to do while the kids are home from school, you’re going to want to check out these roundups.
Red Ted Art has a great list of Christmas STEAM activities, including growing crystals, ice ornaments and pine cone science experiments, fizzing Christmas science, a holiday lava lamp and much, much more. (My daughter’s class is having a Grinch-themed party, so the growing the Grinch’s heart project from Creative Family Fun sounds especially relevant to me!)
If 25 choices is just too many, check out this list of 10 Christmas science experiments from Mom Inspired Life. There’s overlap between the lists, but that just proves these are great ideas.
And of course, there’s Christmas-themed slime. Because it wouldn’t be 2017 without some more slime, am I right?
