Handprint Canada Flags
Americans have their independence on July 4th with barbecues and fireworks, and Canadians have do something similar on Canada Day which is July 1st

On Canada Day, Canadians celebrate the day the British North America Act created the Canadian federal government on July 1, 1867. This date was originally celebrated as Dominion Day up until the year 1982, when an Act of Parliament changed it to Canada Day.

In honor of this special day, why not have your kids make a picture of the Candaian flag using their handprints? It is simple if you follow along with these directions shared by Sarah from How We Learn.
