Playing with sight words is a great way to help kids learn to recognize them so they can say them and spell them properly.
There are all sorts of games and activities out there for learning sight words, but I really like this Popsicle stick sight word puzzle game from This Reading Mama.
You can use basic sight words or even do this for older kids with vocabulary or spelling words. I think my seven-year-old would still like this game with her sight words from school.
How do you play with sight words? I’d love to hear your ideas!

I’m honored that you have shared my sight word puzzle activity on your site!
I would appreciate it if you left the directions for how to make it off your post and instead, say something like, “To read how to make these, hop over to This Reading Mama.”
The way you have it now, there’s no reason for people to visit the original post. I hope that makes sense.
Thank you!
