Sometimes, at the very core of my being, I secretly wish that I was a child in the house of some of the amazing crafters that I post about. Today, I have that feeling again.
This is such a great idea for getting your children excited about creating on their own, even if they aren’t truly old enough to get in the kitchen and bake a full cake.
I love that Elise, the mom, let her children pick out the cakes they wanted to make, and then gave them all the materials they would need create something very similar out of play dough. You can find out more about this idea over at Inspiration Surrounds, Creativity Abounds!

Knowing the alphabet is the basis for learning how to read, so it’s important to get it down. Kids need to know the differences between letters, to be able to recognize their shapes and to know what sounds the letters make individually before they can start combining them in words.
