I LOVE this set of bug and insect activities for preschoolers from Preschool Play. There are so many cute ideas, such a number matching, letter identification, rhyming cards, syllable counting and more.
I really like this build a bug activity that’s pictured above. Another fun way to do it would be with dice, where you put on as many of whatever embellishment as you roll on the die.

With summer coming on in the Northern Hemisphere, I feel like we all need some fun activities we can do with one kid at home or a bunch in a classroom when it’s too hot to go outside (I guess you can say the same for if it’s too cold to go out in the Southern Hemisphere, too).
