This time of year we need lots of outdoor games and activities to encourage kids to play outside even when it’s hot outside.
Alphabet hopscotch is a simple idea, shared by Raising Dragons, that is a great way to help little ones learn the alphabet and get a little physical activity as well.
If you have an older child they can write out the alphabet for the little one to follow, too.
Change it up by having the child name a word that starts with each letter as they go, or do a certain physical activity as they go (jumping jacks, hopping on one foot, going backwards, etc.).

When my daughter was younger she had a ton of LEGO bricks, and I’m honestly a little sad we got rid of most of them because there are so many fun things to do with LEGOs outside of the kits you bought them in.
