Lots of kids are interested in space and the moon, and when they have that interest is a great time for them to learn about the phases of the moon, not only why the moon appears to shrink but what the terms are for the different phases.
JDaniel4’s Mom went a step further and turned learning the phases of the moon into a coding project she shared on Rainy Day Mum. This printable grid allows kids to code on paper to show the correct order of the phases.
You can grab the printable by signing up for the newsletter and get all the details at Rainy Day Mum.
