As September draws to an end, are your kids getting anxious for Halloween? It can seem like an awful long wait from October 1st to October 31st, but this fun countdown project might help. At the very least, when they ask you “how many days left until Halloween” you can simply tell them to count to looks on their witch.
Provide paper, scissors, google eyes, and glue or tape and let the kids create their own witch face. They should then cut 30 strips to use to make paper chains that you can attach to the witch so it looks like hair. The kids can then take off one loop each day to count down the days until Halloween.
