When Crystal’s daughter’s saw some Aqua Sand at the store, she decided they would go home and try to make their own. Crystal likes to make her own versions of pretty much any art and play material she sees in stores. Not only is it fun for the family, it is a great money saver!
She bought some colored sand and some Scotch Guard fabric protector and started experimenting. Since the fabric protector repels water, she figured it was the perfect way to make the sand waterproof — and she was right!

When my daughter was younger she had a ton of LEGO bricks, and I’m honestly a little sad we got rid of most of them because there are so many fun things to do with LEGOs outside of the kits you bought them in.
