As we’ve been outside this week we have been noticing that the dandelions are coming on aggressively, which means it’s time for dandelion crafts and activities.
Years ago I dyed some yarn with dandelions, which is a fun process for kids, too. (I actually didn’t include the alum, just soaked the yarn in dandelion water. I probably got a lighter color because of this but it was still cool.)
The Crazy Outdoor Mama has a collection of more dandelion crafts and activities you can do with kids, including making dandelion jelly, painting with dandelions, making a sensory bottle and more. She’s even got a link to a cute story about dandelions that the little ones are sure to love.
Do you do any activities with dandelions? I’d love to hear about them!
