Free Halloween Themed Printables for Kids

October 17, 2016 by Sarah White Leave a Comment

Halloween printables are one of those wonderfully handy resources that can save the day when you need a quick classroom activity, party game, quiet-time worksheet, or something festive to keep little hands busy while the excitement builds. Whether you’re a teacher planning October lesson activities or a parent trying to survive the pre-Halloween sugar buzz, free Halloween themed printables are a simple way to add seasonal fun without needing a full craft table setup.

These Halloween printables for kids are perfect for preschool, kindergarten, early elementary classrooms, homeschool lessons, Halloween parties, and rainy afternoon activities. You’ll find ideas that can support early learning skills like tracing, counting, matching, colouring, cutting, letter recognition, and simple problem solving — all wrapped up in pumpkins, ghosts, bats, spiders, witches, and other not-too-scary Halloween themes.

I love printable activities because they’re easy to keep on hand for those “we need something right now” moments. Pop a few pages into a folder, add crayons, scissors, glue sticks, or dot markers, and you have an instant Halloween activity station. They’re also brilliant for early finishers in the classroom, party take-home sheets, road trip boredom busters, or quiet activities after a big morning of spooky excitement.

This collection of free Halloween printables for kids is full of easy, budget-friendly ideas for families, teachers, and childcare groups looking for seasonal learning activities with very little prep. Whether you need a Halloween colouring page, a printable game, a simple worksheet, or a fun activity to pair with a classroom party, these printables are a cheerful way to make October feel extra festive without adding more chaos to your already busy day.

As much as I try to avoid activities at home that feel like playing school, my daughter loves coloring pages and activity sheets, especially when related to a holiday or season or theme that’s happening right now in the house.

And there are a ton of Halloween themed printables for kids, whether you’re looking for coloring pages, math, printable books or just about anything else. Here are a few great options I found.

This collection of printables from Darcy and Brian includes printable activity sheets for kids, coloring pages, crafts, treat boxes and more.
