The Winter Games are coming up next month, and if you’re ready to bring a little of that fun into the classroom or your home, here are some great winter sport themed games you can play.
Some of these ideas, from Care.com, require snow as written (and you can’t really have a sled race without it, let’s be honest) but you can play house hockey or sock skating no matter the weather outside. And you could definitely come up with an indoor version of a biathlon by setting up a racing area and a target to hit with soft balls, rolled up socks or paper balls.
Looking for more ideas for celebrating the Winter Games? I’ll have more in the coming days, but you can also check out some activity ideas and a fun wordsearch printable, as well as all of our past resources for Olympics crafts and activities.

When my daughter was younger she had a ton of LEGO bricks, and I’m honestly a little sad we got rid of most of them because there are so many fun things to do with LEGOs outside of the kits you bought them in.
