If you’ve been around the kids’ learning activity world for a while, you’ve probably seen experiments involving dissolving the shell of an egg. (If you haven’t, soaking an egg in vinegar dissolves the shell but the membrane stay intact, giving you a squishy shell-less egg that can be handled gently.)
Playing with Rain adds another fun element to this experiment that makes the egg glow in the dark under a black light.
I won’t spoil it so you click over but it uses stuff you probably already have and will amaze the kids.
Head over to Playing with Rain for all the details.

When my daughter was younger she had a ton of LEGO bricks, and I’m honestly a little sad we got rid of most of them because there are so many fun things to do with LEGOs outside of the kits you bought them in.
